The short of it is 'no' ... the truth of it is: today, quality Free Verse isn't all that common

While good Villanelle, Acrostic, Pantoum, Rubiyat, Virelay, and/or Shakespearean Sonnet is also just as rare in this age, Free Form (rhyming poetry without a set meter or syllable scheme) seems to be the preferred and easiest format and style. In Free Form rhythm and word-flow decide where to place the rhymes, although they should always end the lines. Free Verse on the other hand, makes use of line breaks to accent and break up the words. Free verse is somewhat like prose: the difficulty indeed is line breaks instead of punctuation and paragraphing; thus, it must be written rich in imagery, rhythm and flow.

Amidst the constant circus like avalanche of words,
How did you know?
Once like you stable and secure,
He is older, yet betrothed to your dream,
Faithful to uncertainty,
A spirit yearning to be free.

Quoting Shakespeare was the easy part ... but a major Genevois philosopher, writer, and composer of the eighteenth-century, whose political philosophy influenced the French Revolution and the development of modern political and educational thought was a bit more difficult (Jean Jacques Rousseau - However great a man's natural talent may be, the act of writing cannot be learned all at once).
I don't know much, though writing I miss my dearest Kalikatt isn't too terribly hard. :orglaugh
