Technical Support: Directed to wrong room

This happened to me several times in past couple of weeks...
I get a (social media) message that one of my favorite models (happened with 2 different models) is going online, and I go on the site. I have a notification saying model is online, but their photo does NOT appear on top of my page, where usually is if online. I click on my FAVORTES, and it shows the model as ONLINE.
I click on that photo ,,, and it takes me to a completely different model I have never visited. I have to go back out and try it again.
Obviously, not a big deal, but annoying to me AND I would guess the other model when I pop into their room without intending to visit them, Quote

Dude it has happened to me also. Maybe she is not online it’s a page error

I've had that happen once just a couple weeks ago. I had to reboot due to connection issues, and when I tried to enter I was sent to another room, I tried a second time and it happened again, so I cleared and closed browser and reopened and all was back to normal.

This happens to me CONSTANTLY, if I click on a FAVORITE's photo (showing them as ONLINE). Takes me to a completeely different model's room, someone I have NEVER visited before. Can happen two or three times before I get the right room.
It does NOT happen if I wait and the favorite shows up on top of the main page for me. It happens ONLY when I access through my Favorites. Quote

That means they have online and are logged in but are not yet broadcasting.
It could simply mean they are on break or preparing to start broadcasting

"Online" vs "Broadcasting".... not sure I know difference. A model logs on in order to broadcast.
But, like today, my favorite logged on, started a party, and already got a TIP, before I was able to get into the room. I made three attempts that took me to (completely different) 3 rooms. Yes, we are talking maybe 5 minutes at most, but it is still annoying to end up in other rooms, and likely the models involved aren't crazy about it either. This never used to happen, in the 3 years I have been online, until about 3 weeks ago,

Yes a model must log into in order to broadcast, but they can log in for other reasons as well.
Just like you log in to post on the forum, or be on your page of favorite models, but not necessarily in their room.
I think the lesson for you is not to try to enter room from your favorite models page but from the main page where models that are actually broadcasting are listed, and your favorites are across the top
Just in case your favorite model chooses to be logged in and do some admin work, like respond to messages or take a break without logging off, we'd hate to see this upset you.

It is very true what NYStingRay says, but I also understand what graybearphx says, I have been here on the site for 5 years and these problems that are occurring these days have never happened, such as with vod, reward points, redirecting to another room and other problems. The same sometimes if it is a bit annoying that these kinds of things happen, although I know that they are trying to solve all this as soon as possible, it only remains to wait to know when they are resolved Quote

The VOD issue most certainly has happened before, this is by my count the third time I have encountered it. Just search the forums for the threads.

oh I see that it has happened before, it is that until recently it was that I started to see and write here in the Forums, I did not know that it had happened before, because I have never had that problem, the only ones that I have had are that of me redirects to another room and the points that I go up and down in Level. Now waiting for these problems to be resolved as soon as possible. Quote
